Unlike thetttttttttttt I think that it is a very selfish act to kill the dog. The father couldn´t see the dog suffer (like his wife) and wasn´t able to accompany his death.

i remember this very well from the late night animated shorts channel 4 used to show. I found it disturbing then, and it's always stuck with me since.

thats not at all how i read this film...its more about how a child can misread a situation because of lack of knowledge or how perception can be wrong when all the information is not available |
